I hear you.
I will bring you into the work of my will.
I bend down and listen to your prayers.
I long for you to tell me your needs, hurts and desires.
I will answer you when you talk with me.

~Alfred Lord Tenyson 1809-1892

"I love the Lord because He hears and answers my prayers.
Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath."

When you are in the middle of many sorrows and deep distress
My Spirit is there to help you and pray for you and all of your circumstances
I will hear, understand and accomplish
What is best for you in all things
Harmoniously with my perfect will for you

This is the God-given revelation:  that when we are born again of the Spirit of God and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, he intercedes for us with a tenderness and an understanding akin to the Lord Jesus Christ and akin to God, that is , He expresses the unutterable for us. ~Oswald Chambers (1874-1917)

"The Holy Spirit helps us in your distress.  For we know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray.  But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.  And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will.  Romans 8:26-27

I am calling you to draw close to me
I beckon for you to come near
To be full of humility, faith and purity
To have you seeking me is what I desire
My love is waiting to be accepted by you

"The sun does no choosing.  God chooses, every morning so far, to make it rise yet the Lord of the universe asks me to choose to follow Him; to participate as Christ did in the flowing action which is His will.
~Elisabeth Elliot

"Come near to God and He will come near to you.  Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts you double minded."   James 4:8

You feel weak, weary and at the end
This is when I coose to move through you in power
In your humility and distress
I choose to bring My salvation and strength
For it is only then that my glory can be completely realized

This thought is patterned all throughout the Bible.  It is obviously something God wants for each of us to see in His character and in His way of working.  His ways always fight with our logic.  What is up is down, what is poor is rich, what is weak is strong.

'When we have nothing left but God, then we become aware that God is enough."  ~Agnes Maude Royden (1876-1956)

"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness.  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power will rest on me. That is why for Christ's sake.  I delight in weaknesses in insults, in hardships, in persections, in difficulties.  For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Live in my love,
I will abide in you and you will abide in me.
Fear is thrown away when you are perfected in my love.
Know and rely on my love.

"Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done."
~C.S.Lewis (1898-1963)

"And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.  If anyone acknowledges that Hesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.  And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.  God is love.  Whoever lives in love, lives in God and God in him.  In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgement, because in this world we are like Him.  There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment.  The one who fears is not made perfect in love." 1st John 4:14-18

Over the past year I had only one resolution from last New Year's Day.
That resolution was to live without fear.
I have done terribly with this resolution by consistently thinking that those around me, family, friends and even God, probably despised and looked down upon me in a displeased manner of sorts and in so doing I looked down on everyone else, including God.
What is interesting to me is that in spite of doing all I knew to be a better person and to live as sinless a life as possible.
I have believed lies about so many things.
Hence this blog,
to perceive the love of God in a daily and more meaningful way.
So far I have only written out love notes from God to me based on His Word.
Today in light of the truth of His unfailing love and the love of the body of Christ, the church,
I have realized the only thing that keeps me on track and believing in what is true, lovely and of good report, is to spend every morning being filled with God's amazing love.
So for today I want to leave you with this verse that has truly been my prayer along with Moses'.

("God's love is like jumping into a big pile of soft fluffy feathers, there's no harshness, it's a place of safety, a place of warmth, a place of gentleness. His love is patient, his love is kind.")

"Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives."
Psalms 90:14

My prayer for all followers of Christ is that we have our eyes opened to the truth of His love.
